I'm nearing the end of DQ3... doing some grinding before the last boss. It's a great game, no doubt! But I don't think I'm going to go for plat. I haven't been using a guide so I have no clue which mini medals and friendly monsters I'd need to get. Maybe in my next playthrough!

I am still playing Spelunky. I also finished a really unique indie game called Goldenheart. It was pretty punishing, but also correspondingly rewarding. It's sort of a Zelda/King's Field sort of hybrid thing. It really has its own flavor though, but there are pretty apparent inspirations. One thing I love about playing stuff from small devs is how unique the flavor can be, and that was certainly true here.

I realize as I post this that I often play stuff so far off the beaten path that I probably ought to post a trailer:

I would if the battery didn't crap out on me. It only works now if it's plugged in, which kind of defeats the purpose of a mobile device.

That trailer is something. Those devs made their game with you in mind, haha.
