Early Happy Birthday!

I mean, I think I've heard of Monument Valley. But I honestly have no idea what most of these games are...my own doing though - I guess I'm not in tune with much outside of the big releases these days.

This should probably be the WWE 2K25 Edition since it’s the biggest release of the week.

I looked it up, and it looks like that title was wasted on a crappy visual novel. What a waste. :P

Happy 50th, argyle!

Played recently: Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, Cyberpunk 2077

Finished: Eiyuden Chronicle

Added to backlog: nothing

Well I wrapped up Eiyuden. Good game overall, but the aforementioned irritations take it down a peg.

After being exposed to so much headachey anime crap, I thought I'd play a Western game with none of that, so I fired up Cyberpunk, which is on PS+ Extra now... and I bounced off after a few hours. I was a bit overwhelmed by all the various systems, and I wasn't enjoying my exploration of Night City. I guess I was hoping for a dope sci-fi metropolis... and it's just kind of a neon-drenched future Philly/Detroit, pretty bleak. I'm sure I'll give it another try at some point.

I need something else to play but I'm not sure where I'll go next. Maybe Dave the Diver?

Not according to Gamespot as it wasn't even listed, lol. Oh, I see...it only released for Switch 2 this week and came out for every other system on March 14.

Credits have rolled on Fantasy Life i. Around 80 hours logged, and I didn't complete every single request or master every life - not to mention all of the things that open up once you finish the story. I think I'll probably move on for now, but there's a lot of game here. I may come back from time to time.

Bought: Nothing

Played: One Piece Pirate Warriors 3, Freedom Planet, Manhunter, Indivisible

Beat: Freedom Planet

I beat a game this summer! And one I just bought! I liked Freedom Planet but didn't love. The last series of levels are...a lot of a lot. And they talk too much. I also hated that the bosses didn't have life bars. Only the final boss did. On his like 4th form. This game definitely needed an editor.

Indivisible isn't exactly Valkyrie Profile. But it sure is trying. If it doesn't grab me soon, I'll move on to a different RPG. I really want to dive into one. I did grab SMT 5 Vengeance and that seems a bit more my speed than SMT 3... we'll see.
