I platinum'd the main game of Ghost once again and am now on Iki island. Good stuff. They have monkeys there, and monkey armor! Gotta love it.

Phase?!? You live!

I was really worried about you and thought you may have ventured into the abyss! Glad to see you're back. I hope you're able to get yourself into a better state and enjoy some gaming again!

**************************************

I finally beat the 2nd boss in Inferno Climber. The Steam achievement for it was @ 5%, so yeah, not many people bothered venturing this far into the game, but personally I'm having an EXCELLENT time with it.

With that said, I am ALWAYS amazed at how little progress is made on most games sold overall. I don't understand that at all. I'll put a game down if it really repels me, but otherwise, I bought it to play it...or ONE DAY play it, ha. But if I start it, I'm going to see it through, whether that means finishing or dropping it due to simply not enjoying it. But the rate of completion seems dramatically low overall across the gaming landscape imho.

Welcome back Phase! We're all really glad to see you again, you were missed - and not just because we had to create the weekly threads. ;)

Games added: #Blud, Cyber Shadow, A Highland Song

Last week: Finished nothing, played mainly Fantasy Life I.

This week: Fantasy Life I

FL takes a while to roll everything out to you - you feel like you've seen what the game is, then they introduce something else. When they finally added in the village building portion, Animal Crossing wasn't the first thing that I thought of - it was Dark Cloud. STRONG Dark Cloud vibes from the whole game, really. I'm definitely digging this one.

Dabbled with a few others, nothing serious - Doom: Dark Ages is certainly a game. Played a little of some free-to-play nonsense that they put up, Zenless-something-or-other? Played until it hit the "gotcah" part of the game, which didn't take long. And I gotta say, that game is the most absolute nonsense I've played in a while. It looks fantastic, and the combat was fun enough - but the story, what you're doing, the various systems in the game - all absolute gibberish. I couldn't begin to explain any of them to you. I kinda think that may be the point, the less you understand the more they can trick you into spending maybe? Who knows.

Now that is some cane bait.

I know nothing about Fantasy Life i. Is it a sequel to or spinoff from the Fantasy Life game on 3DS many years ago? I enjoyed that one, and the Level 5 touches did bring to mind Dark Cloud at times.

I didn't play the one on the 3DS, but from what I understand it's a sequel but there's no direct story links or anything.
