Second AA game down, working on the third. Pirate Yakuza order thru Best Buy has been delayed - doesn't look like any of the stores got their stock last week. So while I wait, I will continue playing Trials and Tribulations.

Games added: Civilization VI Anthology Bundle (pc)

Last week: Finished Eternal Strands, played Cyberpunk

This week: More Cyberpunk, and they added Balatro to Gamepass yesterday so I'm playing that as well. :)

Eternal Strands was very good. Not perfect - it was a little long in the tooth, and the characters tended to drone on & on at times, but the gameplay was fantastic - definitely good enough to overlook the few faults & give this one a strong recommendation.

I'm in the DLC for Cyberpunk now. I read somewhere that the best time to play it was once you hit the point of no return in the main game, which I did early last week, so I started the DLC after that. Focussing on the story, I think I'm ready to wrap this one up. Great game, but time to move on.

I've mostly finished the art creation aspect of my OOTP league. I still want to either design or download some fictional stadiums to house these 50 squads to give things some additional personalization. So, I've still got some work to do before holding the league's inaugural draft. But overall, I've come a long way and am *REALLY* excited to start the actual competition. I'll make a thread here in not too long to share some of the details of this league. I know most of you guys aren't big into sports, but I figured I'd share anyway, given how big of a gaming "project" it has been. So I figure I may as well present my soon-to-be obsession.

I played some more Pinball Arcade and started up McPixel 3, which is a fun kind of dumb, ha. It doesn't require much in the way of "investment" which is what I was looking for after a more intense period of creating my baseball league.

I've also still only dabbled in ECCO: The Dolphin. I won't forget about it though. I want to explore this series as intended by the idea of crim's gamer's club.

You might be insane. I'll likely check out that thread every so often.

I got a kick out of that one. I believe it was an argyle recommendation?

Yessir it was. Every once in a while you need a little dumb to counteract the horrors of the world. ;)

Actually, I thought that was common knowledge. :P

I thought I remembered that sequence of events. Sometimes it's hard to be sure though.

Wow! The lack of lyrical rhyming (obviously intentional) aside, I am totally digging that mellow vibe! I hope it comes to PC, or if not, maybe it will get me to fire up the PS4 - or was that PS5 only? Anyway, I'm not Clint Eastwood on that at all! :P

No doubt about that! And it is just the right type of mindless nonsense for my current mood, ha!
