That sounds like a fun time - I want to see what they did with I and II before I make a full judgment on these remakes.

Gaming has been a big part of my life because in addition to being fun it’s also something that I could always rely on to somewhat escape my mental and physical health problems, but now with how my vision is I can’t enjoy it like before. I’m in a constant state of depression that I just can’t shake, and as much as I want to game and talk about gaming I can’t bring myself to do it right now. I have gotten a little better, so I’m hoping that I’ll eventually be able to enjoy playing and talking about games again.

With that said, argyle and cane I’m hoping for the best for you to get the promotion and job that you want.
Hang in there, brother. I can't imagine how tough it is to deal with all you've faced.

The one job I applied for canceled the third interview... they (rightly) indicated I was overqualified and said they were going with someone better suited for an "entry-level" job. Back to the drawing board!

I mean, you wouldn't have applied if you didn't want/need the job. Sounds like ageism, lol.

Well I've applied for 80 jobs or so in my career field of 35 years and that was the only interview I've had, so yeah, pretty sure my age isn't helping.

Thankfully, I have a second interview next week for a great job in a very different field.

That sounds really draining! Hopefully your "shift" turns out positively.
