Rolling on through DQB2. Man, there's a whole lot of game here! And that's without even trying to make every kind of room or do some crazy creation.

The Spyro Reignited Trilogy went up on Gamepass this week, so I've started playing Spyro 2 (played through the first remake a while back on the PS4). Just as much fun as I remember it being back in the day. :)

I gave away my Switch and don't like gaming at my PC.

Eventually (if I get a job and live long enough) I'll likely get either a PS5 or a Steamdeck, and it'll still be there then, hopefully. :P

Man, you know when you are getting a seasonal cold/flu and you feel it coming on? Well, usually for me, I'll get the flavor of that when it's in the air all around, but most always I'm just aware that it's in me, but it never percolates into anything...substantial. I shake it off quick without too much impact and no big deal usually.

But this time, I felt it - just a little body-knowing that I had an enemy within. I expected that it'd be like usual and would barely impact me other than perhaps a little scratchy throat and maybe some slight congestion. Whoo boy, I was in for a rude awakening. Last night I was in full on cold sweats, shaking, kicking the covers around with absolutely zero hope of finding *any* sort of comfort that would allow for real rest - just *pure* misery. I know we've all been sick at times in life, but this was one of those where I think if I'd been offered to fight through it or exit stage left by some entity, I may have seriously considered the second option. It was the real deal. On the positive side, I feel much better already. Like usual, whatever this was only had a brief visit before my body sorted it out, but what a wild ride, lol. Hope you guys all avoid this thing, if this particular bug is even in your areas.

On the gaming front, Withering Rooms is really fun. It's such an interesting mix of flavors that are obviously inspired by what the creator must have loved. But if rogue-lite-ish, survival horror with Souls and metroidvania infusion is a mix that tingles your talons, you might want to take a look. I've only played about 10 hours so far and finished the first chapter, but it's really addictive with an interesting narrative, wonderful mood, fascinating characters and a really engaging sense of discovery. Good stuff boyZ!

That's brutal, but glad it was brief. I have gotten those 24 hour bugs before, hope they stay away this year.
