Saw a pretty good movie yesterday, kinda obscure - some of you fellas might like it. It's called "The Godfather Part II" - I give it 2 thumbs up.
Better late than never!
Seeing this thread bump reminds me that I haven't watched a movie in a long time... and it' s been even longer since I've gone to a theater. Has anything come out this year that you folks really loved and would proudly recommend?

The missus and I went to see Deadpool vs Wolverine, but that's the first time we've been in the theater in a few years now. It's not worth it anymore.
I've been keeping a list this year of all the movies I've watched for the first time, mainly for my own interest but I also plan on making an end-of-year movie post this year & go over all of them. As of right now, there are 52 on the list.

desire to be very grown up.” ― C.S. Lewis
I've been a little lax with movies, but I did see a really fun one recently. If you like dark humor, Villains was really entertaining.
The whole cast was great in their roles, but Jeffrey Donovan was so wonderfully twisted as one of the antagonists that it was hard not to laugh at the absurdity. His delivery was really over-the-top and just made the whole scenario absorbing.

That is so up my wife's alley that I'm surprised she hasn't seen it. She's a fan of Bill Skarsgard, and she loves horror / dark comedy movies. Thanks for the recommend!

Cool! Hope you guys enjoy it whenever you get to it. And Bill Skarsgård is great in it as well. The whole (very) small cast is really good together with great chemistry and black humor.
