PS2 Backlog Committee

I forget about that one. Can't remember anyone here talking about it much.

I think that argyle is the only one here who got it, and he didn't talk about it much. I've been waiting for it to drop in price to get it, and it finally did. It's $29.99 now.

Another JRPG that I'm waiting to drop in price to get is Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana, but it's actually gone up in price.

I'm waiting until I have time to play a 100 hour game before I get it.

I think that the only game that I've ever played for 100+ hours is The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Legendary Edition. I heard that The Witcher III: Wild Hunt Complete Edition can take that long which is why I'm waiting to play it.

I have two of those coming down the pike in RDR2 and DQXI. I'll be playing those until my grandchild is walking...

I got it for Tam, but she didn't really get into it so I traded it in. The Persona games aren't really my thing, I prefer RPGs to be more gameplay than story, and they are the opposite.

Ys VIII is awesome, and I'm sure it's only better now that they fixed the translation.

I really like the two that I played (3 and 4) as they're different for the JRPG genre combining a school/after school sim with dungeon crawling. While they're story and character focused, I feel that there's enough gameplay offered with the sim and dungeon crawling stuff. But they're definitely niche, and not for everyone.
