Well given the enjoyment I got from running it back on DQ8, I thought I'd try again with another of my all-time favorites...
I'm playing the PS2 version that came out on PS4 rather than the AI garbage "definitive" edition. Greatly enjoying it so far.

I heard that version had been substantially improved, but I haven't really checked it out closely for myself.

I've heard the same, but I think there was some censorship stuff that wouldn't be fixed, so I just decided to go with the OG.
