For some reason, I just have the hardest time wrapping my head around the controls in that game. Everything just feels "clunky" to me - I fumble with the controls when trying to do almost anything. Not sure if it's me or the game or what. Then last night I was walking around the first town you're in and just messing with the antagonize button. I insulted 3 different people, then it pops up that I'm wanted for "disturbing the peace". Huh? I'm sorry, but I don't want to live in a world where it's illegal to tell someone they're a moron.

It definitely plays clunky, heavy and sluggish which was one of my complaints with it. Another one of my complaints was with how easily that you become wanted in towns, if you look at someone the wrong way you become wanted and the law is on you instantly. I also disliked how if you shot someone in self defense you were wanted for murder. The wanted system is too sensitive, and unrealistic. The game overall failed to really click with me in general, and I found it to be a little disappointing compared to the first game. I liked it enough to finish it, but that was about it.

Regardless I'm gonna play it & find out for myself. I absolutely love their world building and very unique take on dark fantasy, so I'm hoping this is one I click with (like Bloodborne, which up to now is the only SoulsBorne game I've finished).
I watched a lot of video reviews and some said that it’s a little easier than previous FromSoftware games depending on how you approach it, some said that it’s just as hard and some said that it’s harder. I want to hear what you think, because we’re usually on the same page when it comes to games.
Everything about Elden Ring looks impressive to me so I’m still interested in it, but I’m afraid that I’m going to find it just as frustratingly difficult as the other FromSoftware Soulsborne games that I’ve played.
I didn’t know that you finished Bloodborne, so perhaps you’ll be fine with Elden Ring’s difficulty. I always struggle with the bosses in these games to the point where I give up, and I think that it will be the same for me in Elden Ring as well.
