Argyle. Phase. Bruhs. Fam. I feel so flipping bad for y'all! I know I disappeared for like...years and whatnot but I still consider y'all friends (you people have no idea the dark times y'all helped me through...there was some bad times y'all were there for me whether you ever realized it or not. Hell, that ridiculous goty thread was fun because the winter was a lot and that was an outlet). I am more than happy to lend an ear (or eye...since we like read these?) anytime life gets rough. It ain't all sugar and rainbows out there. I appreciate y'all sharing and my thoughts are with you gents but if you just want to vent and for some reason you don't want to hit it up here (this goes for everyone fam), feel free to crush that PM button and I will read. And probably reply with a Colin Farrell In Bruges gif. Because it makes me laugh. And if it'll help clear your head for a few seconds just to get stuff of your chest and laugh for a bit, I am more than happy to lend an ear...eye...whatever, you know.

Now...Played: DQ11S (oh my God, I can't get over this game, that overworld theme, so short but so GOOD >_<!!!!!) but for like an hour because House Hunters 13: Only that very specific part of Endgame where Strange looks a Stark and does the one finger in the air thing...I have no clue how any of this house stuff actually works but we are shockingly close to closing. I think. Maybe. Possibly. I hope I don't run out of Endgame material before we get to the closing...this is a gosh dang epic y'all, NOBODY ever warned me about the process of buying a house (wait...I thnk argyle tried?)...why is it like this?...OH WAIT, I played Titanfall 2. I beat the first boss for the first time ever and then realized how trash I am at Titanfall 2 because even on easy I can't keep Not Mech Optimus Prime (but seriously, they just REALLY wanted to make Mech Optimus Prime...I mean c'mon, that's clearly a Peter Cullen impostor!) alive for anything. I might have to just give up again...

Bought: I...I think I might just finally give up and buy a DBZ game. Apparently, Cyber Connect 2 made DBZ Kakarot. Aside from .hack (because eww... .hack), I will play anything they make because they feed my nonstop craving for pure spectacle. I avoided Fighter Z for so long because my fighting game...game is trash...but I am so close to getting Kakarot because of Cyber Connect 2 (fam, you played Naruto 4...bruh. BRUH.)...watch this space. Oh or that haul thread I never use for no good reason...

This week: Packing. Weekend dominated by rearranging our storage space to purge (don't worry j, I even still have my dead Sega Saturn, nary a gaming piece will be purged ), window shopping for new furniture and (shudder)....paint . Ugh, so boring...but happy wife, happy life and all that. And next week is the last week of school YAY!!!

Good luck on the move. Man, I can't do that again. I'll just go lie in a ditch.

Crim, I bought a place early last year right before the shutdown. Only took like 30 months to build, so I had my own set of issues... But I'm glad I stopped renting and went through with it.

All right, has anybody here played Death Stranding? Thoughts?

I started it the other night, probably about 4 hours in. It's my first Kojima game... as y'all probably know I don't like stealth so I passed on MGS. I find the bonkers elements appealing (Die-Hardman? ) but I'm not sold on the gameplay at this point.

I've yet to play it, but if you like "bonkers", you've come to the right place with Kojima. Personally, I love his borderline-insanity/genius.

I'm still loving M&L Bowser's Inside Story. So good. It's one of those games that I'm already dreading coming to an end, and I know I've got a good ways to go. Sign of a great game for me.

Good for you bruh! That's awesome, glad you feel good about it! I am still dreading the final closing numbers...NYC housing is like...I have watched so much House Hunters, I could buy a goddamn mansion anywhere else in this country for half of what this is going to cost in the end...conversely if I want to continue teaching and actually be able to make a living where I can afford a house and family with one job, I have to stay here. And I do like it here so perspective and all that I guess .
