I adore Just Cause 2, and I have 3 with all DLC in my backlog. I hope it's as good as 2, but I've heard mixed opinions on that. Let us know if you dive in.

Re: The Haul Thread 2022
While I liked the core gameplay and world of Just Cause 2, the story and characters were so dumb that I didn’t have any incentive to keep playing. I didn’t like playing as Rico Rodriguez, so I didn’t stick with it for very long. But I’ve heard that Just Cause 3 is the best in the series, and based on video reviews that I watched of it the story seems to be a little better and Rico Rodriguez seems to be a little more likable.isthatallyougot wrote: ↑Thu Jan 20, 2022 3:28 pmI adore Just Cause 2, and I have 3 with all DLC in my backlog. I know that this series is more about its gameplay than its story and characters, but I still like those aspects to at least be somewhat entertaining enough to keep me wanting to play. But it only cost me $3, so if it fails to hold my interest I don’t really care.

I took it all as very tongue in cheek mockery, and I love that vibe. But I can see how it could land differently, depending on your preferences, for sure.

I never think about those games. I had a good time with JC1 on PS2 and JC2 on PS3. Not sure why I never got around to JC3-4. I thought I had but the Backloggery don't lie!
Does JC2 have some sort of island in the sky or skyscraper? I have a vague recollection of doing battle way up in the air.

There was a mile high club - maybe it was even called that. It was a party city suspended by balloons, if I'm remembering right. And there were some urban areas too, but they were normal cities.

Ha, thanks. So many video game scenarios have faded to the fringes of my CTE-demolished brain...
